We’re in the 10th week of goodybank and it’s been an incredible journey so far. Together with our members, we’ve supported 175 causes, 1,429 members and 43,000 people across the country.

Here is a detailed account of all the causes and communities supported this week across the country

Snapshot of how the funds contributed to the community funds are being distributed. £1million+ total collaborative fund. 2,500+ projects supported.

Thanks to our members for their ongoing support to goodybank. We’ve heard so many touching stories from all over the county.

Here’s another positive story of how people have come together and shared their skills during this time.

Skills 4 Work Gateshead ltd

This charity supports young adults between the age of 18-30 years in Gateshead town in Tyne & Wear who suffer from disabilities and mental health conditions. Skills 4 Work helps them to make that transition from education to the workplace while maintaining positive mental and wellbeing. Currently, they are supporting 24 people per week.

How the funds are helping

Skills 4 Work are using the funding for practical and emotional support and they have adapted their services to go online.

Thank you so much for your generous support to our on-line programme during the lockdown. This has been a lifeline for many young people connected with our charity, providing a daily structure and routine. Our sessions have run 6 days a week live at 11 am. Thank you

Thanks for bringing a real change for so many in these times.
