Looking for the best Christmas shopping apps to make your holiday planning a little easier? Why not take a look at the apps we have featured in this article? I’ve purposely picked out a selection of apps that make searching for gifts and deals on such gifts easier.

Hopefully, something in this list will remove the stress from online Christmas shopping and replace it with excitement and ease.

1. Amazon Shopping

It may not be the most exciting Christmas shopping app to see in this list, but Amazon is, without a doubt, one of the strongest online shopping platforms in the world right now. Not only can you quickly search for products across dozens of different categories, but you can read reviews on each product, find great deals regularly, and with Prime, get next day delivery in most locations. Amazon’s customer service and returns policy is unbeatable, so if you have any issues, you can always get in touch with them online or via telephone. The convenience of Amazon just cannot be beaten and their prices are in line with most other places on the net.

2. eBay

eBay is second to Amazon in the Ecommerce game, so it’s only fair we mention them too. Many consider eBay to be the best place to sell their old stuff, so it could be a nice way to scrape up some extra funds for the holiday period. Sometimes a second hand gift can make a nice present too. More importantly, eBay has quickly become a destination for many retailers to sell their brand new products online. As a result, it’s very easy to find great deals on electronics, games, toys, clothing, and many other items. The delivery service for eBay isn’t quite as phenomenal as Amazon and the customer service is not as great, either, but you’ll still often have the opportunity to find a range of great deals.

3. HotUKDeals

One of my favorite platforms for gift shopping is HotUKDeals. This is a user submission app where users can share the deals they have found in retail stores or whilst shopping online. The deal categories can range massively from tech and clothes to cheap flights and even brand new cars.

Whatever you plan to splash out on, HotUKDeals can be a great place to find the best prices for it. Because the HotUKDeals community is very active, you can be confident knowing that there will always be the best discounts, sales, and bargains posted here. You can use the search bar to search for the latest deals on specific items or search via category.

If you don’t know what to purchase, HotUKDeals can still be a good place to point you in the right direction. You’ll see all of the hottest deals, organised by day, week, and month, so you’ll be able to find something for everybody at a cheaper price.

4. Santa’s Bag & Christmas Gift List

Santa’s Bag is an excellent app that can help you to manage your Christmas shopping, ensure you get gifts for all of your recipients, and still stay within budget. Santa’s Bag has a variety of different features to check out. Firstly, the summary page showcases a countdown to Christmas day and an overview of your budget. On the recipients tab, you can set up profiles for each person you’d like to give gifts to. You can then create lists of gifts for each person and round up the prices - all of this will be reflected in your budget on the front page. Finally, you have the option to search for gifts straight from within the Santa’s Bag app.

Unfortunately, Santa’s Bag is only on iTunes right now. A similar app with a little less functionality for the Android users out there is called Christmas Gift List. With this app, you can also create individual profiles for each recipient and add gift lists to each profile. You can track your budget and spending for each profile and there’s also a countdown timer included.

5. TopCashback

TopCashback is another great app for those looking for great deals on gifts for Christmas time. There’s a big catch - instead of straight discounts, you get money back on the products you purchase through the TopCashback app. Essentially, TopCashback is a big affiliate platform that earns money for suggesting deals on different products. Topcashback will then send some of that cut back to you.

The time of a payout can vary, but you’ll be able to withdraw your cashback to your bank account or PayPal. For Christmas, using TopCashback can be a nice way to relieve the financial pressure a little bit. TopCashback is also an app that I’d suggest everybody to use in their everyday lives and use it as a way to earn back on the transactions they would usually make anyway.

6. Etsy

Etsy can be an excellent platform to find hand crafted good and made-to-order gifts. If you are looking for something a little more special to give to your loved ones, I’d highly recommend having a browse. What I love about Etsy is that if you have a creative gift idea, but don’t require the time or skills to create it yourself, an Etsy store owner most likely has something similar for sale.

It can sometimes take time trawl through low quality items on Etsy, but when you get to the good, truly handcrafted items, you’ll have wished you used it for gift ideas in the past. Make sure you order your Etsy items early enough, though. Some sellers may need additional time to craft their items or send it abroad.

Summary

That wraps up my look at what I believe to be some of the best Christmas shopping apps available. I hope that you’ll be able to take advantage of the apps I’ve listed here.
